The ever adorable Miss Nora is 4 months old!! Already! Time is going by so quickly.
Height: 24.5 in (50th percentile)
Weight: 13lbs 4oz (30th percentile)
Head Circumference: 16 1/8 in (60th percentile)
Nora had a bit of a tapering off the last couple of months in her growth. She grew, but not as much and fell on the percentile charts for both height and weight. The doctor isn’t concerned at all as she is the picture of health and kiddos often settle into the growth based on their genetics at this point. What I find most interesting about her current stats is that they are almost identical to Anna’s at 4 months. Up until this point I had assumed she would follow in Maya’s foot steps since she was hanging out at the top of the charts, but it is beginning to look like that may not be the case. It will be interesting to see how it ends up.
Nora is such a doll. It is no secret that she is a sleeping champion. Her current schedule consists of her sleeping 11-12 hours at night and taking 2-3 naps during the day. She typically naps for about an hour in the morning, then has another long 2ish hour nap in the afternoon, and caps it all off with a quick power nap of about 20-30 minutes in the late afternoon early evening. She goes to bed between 6:30 and 7pm at night and on most nights sleeps until 6:30-7:30am. (Don’t hate me 😉 ). All that sleep can probably be attributed to her being a little busy body when she is awake. She is “talking” up a storm and has begun to exercise her squeals. She loves her floor play, especially tummy time. She can roll from front to back and is trying very hard to go the other way. When she is on her tummy she can spin herself around to reach her toys. While on her back or sitting in her bouncy seat she reaches for toys and plays with them. I love watching her play, she gets so excited when she sees a favorite toy and can reach it
She has entered the “everything must be in my mouth” stage and is drooling like crazy. She has begun to giggle, which just melts my heart every time. She has a some what discerning sense of humor but when you can get her laughing it is the best sound ever! Maya and Anna just adore her. Maya loves to read her stories and show her new toys. Anna loves to cuddle with her and talk to her. Nora is one lucky little girl to have 2 amazing big sisters.
And we are lucky to have her! She is perfect and makes me smile every day. I love her to pieces
For comparisons sake I thought it might be fun to see what Maya and Anna were like at this age. In looking through photos I learned that all 3 girls looked a lot alike at this age.
Maya at 4 months (height: 25.75 ins, weight: 14lbs 4oz)
Anna at 4 months (height: 25.5 in, weight: 13lbs 6oz)
