We finally got word this morning that our visas were approved and we are all set to travel to Australia. Of course, I immediately wanted to vomit. I am both super excited and super stressed out all at the same time.
There is so much to do and now so little time in which to do it. We have to book our flights, arrange our accommodations, finish packing, and get a few last minute things done around here before we leave. That To-Do list that I’ve been slowing checking things off of still seems so long.
Today I did manage to make a quick trip to Target to pick up most of the things I needed for the trip and made a good dent in the packing department. At least that feels like a step in the right direction. I know Lorne is busy researching flights. Since we have to pay for mine and Maya’s tickets out of our own pockets (don’t even get me started on that!) we want to make sure we’re getting a good deal because you know tickets to Australia are not that cheap.
The desperation to get out of here, for me, kind of wore off this week with all the gorgeous weather we’ve been having. Although, I’m still super excited about this trip and can’t wait to see what kinds of fun adventures we’ll have. I just need to get through the stress of the next week or so. I’m anxiously awaiting the deep breath of relaxation I’ll be able to take when we arrive safely in Australia.

I can’t decide if you’re crazy, adventurous, or just really brave. You have my undying respect for doing this Australia trip/move with a toddler and while being pregnant.
It will all be worth it once you get there I’m sure of that! Take it one step at a time so it doesn’t seem like so much work and remember to BREATH! xx
I can’t wait to hear all about the trip there and see pictures from there!
