Supposedly, it's a good thing when they form attachments to objects, like blankets. Kids who do are found to be more empathetic and sympathetic later on. At least, that's what I read in Parent's Magazine. And since Ava has a blankie love of her own, I choose to believe it. :) That is just darling.
