So tomorrow is Mother’s Day. Just think of all the moms as they receive those cute little handmade cards that their kids slaved over all week in school, or getting breakfast in bed loving orchestrated by dad and kids (and hopefully cleaned up by them as well), or getting a beautiful bouquet of flowers. You mention and I’m sure a mom somewhere is getting it.
I’ve always liked Mother’s Day, always thought it was a really good idea. Kids tend to take their moms for granted (especially teenagers), I know I was a kid once. We know our moms do a lot for us but we don’t really think about what that means, or take the time to say thank you. Mother’s Day is a great way for kids to take a moment to recognize just how important their mom is to them, just how much she does for them, and say “Thanks Mom”.
So if you are a mom reading this post enjoy your day tomorrow and remember that your kids really do appreciate you all year long, they just might not always take the time to tell you.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the great moms out there.

Thank you, Lisa. My husband orchestrated a bouquet of flowers today because my kids all live away from home now – beautiful bright yellow and orange flowers
We are moms all our lives and continue to feel close to our children no matter how far they are. I know I’ll hear from my kids tomorrow and that means the world to me!
Just think, this time next year you’ll be an experienced mom!! That will be very cool.
Thanks for the well wishing. I think the most wonderful thing any of us can do for another person is to take a moment to recognize and thank them for all they do. The most important jobs are often the most thankless. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Holly
