If your child is into a lot of different sports and clubs, and likes to participate in all of them than that's great. The key is to keep an eye on how it is affecting your child. If it seems to impact them negatively than maybe it is time to scale back. Thanks. Keith,

If my 11 year old daughter plays 2 team sports,softball and basketball, and she clearly has expressed the desire to do so on her own because she enjoys it, and she gets straight A's in school, am I still doing something wrong by allowing her to participate. Bottom line is what is considered overscheduling? Not one article other than this one, http://www.srcd.org/press/mahoney.pdf, backs up their claim with numbers. They leave it too open ended as to what exactly over scheduling is. What would be considered over scheduling?
